GREATER VANCOUVER ZOO ENTRY REDESIGN
CLIENT: GREATER VANCOUVER ZOO
STAGE: COMPLETE
DESIGN WITH: ZALE DESIGN
LOCATION: ALDERGROVE, BC
This project offered the opportunity to reimagine the entryway of an iconic institution by expressing the zoo’s mission through its landscape design. A series of educational planting areas complement functional wayfinding to provide a beautiful and interactive entrance experience. This project was very hands-on, with Zale Design providing on-site coordination with architects, landscapers and construction; plant selection, sourcing and installation; and drainage and grading support in addition to landscape and planting design.
